Veronica Mars: Logan Hangs with a Tween; Dick Seems to Have a Soul, But Doesn't
Now this is the Veronica Mars we remember. Twisty mystery, sharp dialogue, well-drawn characters and even some continuity. Heck, we even got Wallace – albeit for all of 2.5 seconds, but we were just so glad to see him that we’ll let that go.
The show even managed to make a couple of things we usually aren’t so fond of really work for the show. First, the addition of the adorable moppet. Oy, that drives us nuts – so many shows seem to throw in a kid when they run out of ideas. Here, the kid was actually used effectively – someone needed to get Logan out of his funk, and it was just hysterical watching him deal with an 11-year-old girl. Plus, she went all squeeing fangirl “LoVe forever!” in the elevator, which made us laugh (and wonder if the writers have been bugging our phones). It’s not like we want her to move in with Logan and Dick – although we think there’s a sitcom pitch in there somewhere – but we liked her for this episode.
Then there was Dick. Usually… well, let’s just say we usually think he lives up to his name. But he had some truly great lines this week (vote for your favorite in our poll), and he was being almost caring and sensitive towards Logan. But what we loved even more what that he returned to his usual shallow, short-for-Richardish self by the end of the episode. Ah, Dick. We knew we could count on you.
As for the mysteries – do you think Josh killed his father? Did Veronica really help him escape? Is he psycho, or is he being framed?
And then there’s the big mystery. Mindy sure looks like the lead suspect in Dean O’Dell’s murder, but we can’t help but think Landry’s answers are just too pat. Something’s going on there, but we haven’t figured out what.
What did you think? Who do you pick for the killers in both murder cases? Will Veronica get the FBI internship? And are you surprised that Hearst’s basketball team is losing when they have guys as short as Wallace on first team? We love the guy, but really… Share your thoughts in the comments!

Alright I'm done now.
I managed to between raising a 4 and 2 1/2 year old and working 40 hours a week to watch Season 1 and 2 in less than 2 weeks. I LOVE VERONICA MARS. Yes I'm a newbie!
I am totally IN LOVE with Logan. I'm married but hey, can't I dream? LOL.
I just read the comments below and OMG I didn't know that this is the last season. WHY??? I think they should at least wait until Veronica graduates! I think this show has too many fans to end the series.
Good-bye to her prof. and that idiot teacher's aid! Won't miss them. But Sheriff Lamb - what a shock! He's was an A-Hole but WOW!!!!
Anyway I really, really enjoy the show.
Here's my e-mail in case anyone wants to chat about VM. keje2020@hotmail.com

just when I think I've got this season's mystery all figured out, they throw in a new twist! Who really killed Dean O'dell? and why did Sherrif Lamb have to die? I admit I really didn't like his character (too self absorbed and not caring enough) but every show needs some characters to hate on. The writers should've left Lamb paralyzed or something and have him lay in bed while Keith takes over his position. Hah sweet revenge.
This can't be the last VM season! there's so much potential for this show - i really dont know what i'm going to be doing with all that free time on 9pm on tuesdays during the midseason break :(

Great episode!!!Vm is getting back to his old ways...
I love the scene between V and Logan... SO cute!!! LoVE is the best couple ever!!! They need to get back together without the trust issues...
LoVe Logan with that kid...
Love Wallace return and Weevil...
Love the PIZ and Parker absense...
Miss Mac...
And I need a 4th VM season...
Plzzz, don't cancell it and give it another chance... a new network needs some time to grow up...so needs Veronica... A lot of new fans are just starting to discover it (like me), and the show needs one more chance...

This weeks episode was just too sweet. There has been so much angst between logan and veronica lately that it was nice to bring a little girl in to lighten the mood. and Dick! One of my favourite people right now. and the whole 'LoVe' thing? I never thought of it like that!
On another note. what's with these people who leave hateful comments? If you despise the show so much, why do you bother going on the site and leaving a message? Isn't that just a waste of time?

I normally love Veronica's character, but she needs to get over the "forgive, but never forget" thing. Though I have to admit, I love the drama with her and Logan and do want them back together in the end.

I really wish Veronica and Logan would stay togother. htye are so cute togother. It is good though that Veronica saw how upset logan was, so that she knows he actually cares

VERONICA ROCKZ!!!(ALL I HAVE 2 SAY)

i agree - they do need some time apart to work things out, but i definately want LoVe back together after piz. oh and p.s.- to the poll people: you left out my favorite dick line from the past epi. "the girls so hot, i'm gonna need an oven mitt to touch her" or something to that extent. lol

It is always great to read that Veronica Mars is getting new viewers.
I love Veronica and Logan together. However, I need a break from all of the back and forth. I am tired of them getting together only to have it previewed that they are going to be breaking up soon. I want to see them as friends for a while. At the end of the day I love LoVe together.
Although Wallace wasn't on there for very long this week, wasn't it great to see Weevil. I love his character.

logan and veronica belong together. they have amazing chemistry, and they've been through so much together. i loved this week's episode! i thought it was so funny (i love dick) and the little girl heather is adorable. calling in the radio station? lol i loved this past epi!
i'm a new viewer and i love the show! i don't know whats up with the haters either, but VM better not get cancelled! that would be a huge error in judgement and i think the network would pay dearly for it.

i like logan and veronica together. i love the show cant wait to see next weeks show

I personally thought this was 'better' episode as of late. I think Heather is adorable and I am glad she got Logan out of his funk. I think that she and Jason had okay on screen chemistry, and that calling the radio station was genius.

What's with the haters? I'm amazed that people come by each week to post how many viewers Vmars got... seems like you might care a bit too much about a show you're supposedly not even watching.

Yes. You are the only one in the entire world that doesn't want Logan back with Veronica. The LoVe reeducation team will be showing up at your locaiton soon. Resistance will just make things worse.
I kid, of course. Personally, I think Logan does the brooding bad boy better than almost anyone on TV, and the whole point of this episode is that he snapped out of brood-mode by the end. But yeah, if that's not your thing, I can see why he would annoy. But where normally a character like him would piss me off after a while, too, I think the writing and Jason Dohring's acting is strong enough that he transcends the character. Yes, Veronica can probably do better, but she'll never have this sort of chemstry with anyone else.

The review above, should have read....
Heck, we even got Wallace – albeit for all of 2.5 MILLION VIEWERS, but we were just so glad to see him that we’ll let that go.
Start packing, Veronica Mars. You're done.

Ugh, Logan annoys. Am I the only one that doesn't want him back with Veronica? He's so... broody. Enough with the bad boy schtick -- Veronica, you can do better!
