Scott Patterson to Star in "Aliens in America"

Scott PattersonThose of you still mourning the loss of Gilmore Girls and a weekly dose of Scott Patterson on your TV screen don't have to grieve any more -- he's signed on to appear in Aliens in America! Zap2it.com reports that Patterson will appear as the father of a dorky Wisconsin teen, replacing original pilot co-star Patrick Breen.

After so many years on Gilmore Girls, it's crazy to think of Scott Patterson in a half-hour sitcom role. He definitely has the chops for it, but we've come to see him and Luke as one and the same -- have you? We're excited to see him take on a different kind of challenge. What do you guys think of this new development? Will Patterson's presence make you more likely to check out Aliens in America? Discuss!

Its good to see Scott somewhere again. He was someone I was going to miss not seeing week in and week out.

The reason I will be watching "Aliens in America" is because Scott Patterson is in it. I will watch anything he is in.
