The Sourcies: It's REALLY Close, So Get Voting!
This one's a nailbiter! After two weeks of blowouts, competition for this week's Sourcie has intensified. In this week's category, Best Trigger Moment, Smallville's being left in the dust by Supernatural and One Tree Hill. More than 10,000 of you have voted, and as of this writing, a mere 100-some votes separate the two. Less than 1%!
The polls are still open, though, so it's anyone's win. You have until Monday at 10 AM Pacific Time to watch the videos and cast your vote, so be sure to do it if you haven't already -- and tell your friends.

Thanks Amanda for hearing what I had to say... And again GO SUPERNATURAL... I can't think of another scene which had so much build up and meaning and emotional value attached for both brothers and their dead father than that trigger moment... IT WAS ONE POWERFUL SCENE AND WHAT A WAY TO END THE SECOND SEASON WOW!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 3... COMING SEPTEMBER 27TH FILMING STARTS TODAY...!

Even if Lucas had actually shot Dan it still wouldn't of been as good as the scene between Dean and the YED. The special effects were excellent!!

i casted a vote for One Tree Hill. This scene with Lucas was great. the other half to the scene, or the continuation of the scene (in the epi after 4.19) is even better! One Tree Hill fans know the entire 419 420 scenes were the best!

Steve I hear what you're saying.
Dean shooting the YED was the series defining moment since Mary died in the Pilot's opening scene. 44 episodes built up to that moment, and it had to be done in slow mo with great effects.
Yet OTH gives us a missed shot. Good aim Lucas.
SPN had another trigger moment that was better than OTH. When DemonPossessedSam shot Dean in BUABS.

I say SUPERNATURAL has the best chance of winning. really people when your dad comes back from the dead... or in this case hell, to help you that would cause the reason why SUPERNATURAL should be the winner. -JA

I agree with the other post, there really is no contest. I watched all 3 of those moments and there is no comparing. Supernatural's scene was incredible!!!

We're comparing a missed shot to a one bullet only shot to kill a demon that has haunted the Winchester family for two seasons!!!

This is all well and good but the trouble is, you can easily vote more than once. I'm not so sure that this poll or the one before it is at all accurate because of this. But I will still cast my vote and hope others will do the same. ;)
Supernatural all the way for me! That was one of the series' best scenes!
