Well, i think it IS building up to something because of Sam's "comeback" and what the Yellow Eyes said about it: that who said Sam completely came back as he was before. And see how now when he kills he doesn't even hesitate? Which leads me to think it'll have something to do whith Dean's time to "go".

Also, who knows what will happen at the end. They always keep the twists, and turns commin'.

this episode was hilarious i couldn't stop laughing

Is it me, or is this third season a bit anti-climatic without ol' Yellow Eyes stirring the pot. The show seemed a lot more compelling when there was a sense that we were building toward something. Or, is Dean's impending death supposed to make us care more? I don't see why we should when he doesn't.

Maybe it would have at least stayed interesting if they did not seemingly take away Sam's potential powers. I like the part about the 'gifted' being able to eventually control demons.
