CW Upfronts: Wednesday and Thursday Nights

It's a Ken Mok/Tyra Banks night with America's Next Top Model starting things off and Stylista rounding out the night. This should keep things interesting - Tyra has got a busy schedule these days!

We all know what Top Model is about, but Stylista is about to give us The Devil Wears Prada as a reality show. The contestants will be an assistant to the editor of Elle, Anne Stath. They'll have to get coffee, plan birthday parties for nieces, it's gonna get ugly up in here.

Smallville and Supernatural fans....

...you'll be PSYCHED! Both of the shows are coming back for another season, so we can let out big sighs of relief.

I have always enjoyed the programming on the WB and now CW, but the recent changes have me very disheartened (please get off of the reality show band wagon - except for Beauty & the Geek)before it's too late. Now on to my reason for posting this message. Smallville will lose so much without Allison Mack's Chloe. I understand they are paving the way for the Clark Kent/Lois Lane set up but that is a HUGE mistake. That is one romance that should NEVER air, I guarantee it will be the kiss of death for the show. Erica Durance is a fine actress, but let's be for real. Lois Lane is annoying, why would we want to tune in to watch her get in the way or get rescued every week? Let's shift the storylines to Clark becoming Superman and working with the Justice League. Will were at it Chloe should definitely be a member and hold down the fort at the Watchtower. What happened to the developing story with the Martian Manhunter? There are still so many possiblities for Smallville, developing a Lois/Clark relationship should NOT be part of it. That should figure into the SERIES FINALE, which will hopefully be very far in the future. BTW did anyone see the Aquaman pilot? If not it's available on iTunes. The network really slept on that one, with the exception of Ving Rhames (he's great but not a good fit for the character)it had real potential. Too bad the powers that be didn't realize it.

i'm glad supernatural will be back !!! can't wait !!

Allison Mack is a fabulous actress.
She is the subeam of Smallville.
Smallville is not Smallville without her. I apreciate her character during 7 years and she die for saving Lana.(promo). The favorite lady of the show give her life for heal a Character who leaves the show in 5 episodes. It's a non sense.
Smallville simply can't afford to lose Allison at this point because the character is too integral to the story and always has been. Clark's character depends on Chloe, her fans love her, and she would be the third core cast member to depart within a year if the CW allows this actress to get away.

The CW and other PTB need to wisen up and start paying attention to more successful networks by making concessions to it's stars. Without Allison Mack, the show will fail, and the network is kidding itself if it thinks that the remaining secondary characters can carry this show with Tom...it isn't going to happen, friends.

Give Allison Mack what she needs to stay, and make her the show's leading lady by offering her the pay and second billing behind Tom Welling--she's not only earned it, the show can't afford not to give her what she needs to stay.

Attention CW: If you allow Allison to slip away, there will be a mass exodus from your show because she's a huge reason many of your current viewers still hang around inspite of the horrible writing by the show's writers. Get this right while you still can. I think that the network needs Allison far more than she needs them, but if the network wants to survive, it better get this mess straightened out.

Get Allison re-signed, or a bunch of us will definitely be tuning out in season 8.

I know I will be beat for this, but I can't stand this show. find something better for these girls to watch, grow up with gesh

I think Smallville ran out its course about 2 seasons ago, but thank god SN will be back.

Yay for Supernatural...always a winner in my book...

Boo for Smallville...why come back if your not brinigng what people want...I want to see Allison Mack return....but you guys are about to let a good thing go....and lose even more ratings...way to go!
