One Tree Hill Podcast: "You Can't Always Get What You Want"

Listen Now

OK, look, I know that all sorts of things happened in this episode of One Tree Hill, but I am too busy being blinded by the horror that was Felix to remember them.

Why, God, why? We inflict Felix upon us?

I vaguely recall Andy, and Peyton having a drug encounter, and Brooke shoplifting, and Lucas and Dan drag-racing, but it's all blotted out by Felix's smug, bad-shirt-wearing, cocky presence. Why is he there? Why? WHY? What have we done to deserve this?

I'm sure there's more than just Felix loathing in this podcast -- I recall a discussion of YM magazine, and Mia revealing who she hates above all others, and some contemplation of why Dan is a lousy dad, but my mind is so clouded by Felix rage that I can hardly be sure. Because Felix? Grrrrr.

Just listened to the last three podcasts at work and had to literally bite the inside of my lips to keep from busting out laughing and sitting here with this goofy ear-to-ear grin. You guys are hysterical!

I'm glad you guys hated Felix as much as I did. And, heads up, when he leaves, it's not even that rewarding because even that sucks. ...And don't even get me started on Anna. Or Dare Night. You'll just love (and by that I mean hate) that whole deal. What a perfect gem this season could have been without these two. Such a shame.

This season has hands down the best writting of any season. the twists and turns it takes is incredible. Very few shows are able to shock me like this season did.

So this season IS very good. It may not have had as many touchy feely moments. But it put the characters in such misery that it showed how much they really care about and support each other. The bonds formed this season is what One Tree Hill is all about.
I like the fast pace of this season way more than the slow pace of season three.

My freshmany science teacher is best friend's with real-life Felix's mom. Kinda crazy isn't it?

But yeah, I agree that this season isn't the best.

Season 2 is definately my least favorite...anna's stupid. Felix is so full of himself...chad's hair is UGLY! B. Davis just acts like and idiot and speaking of peyton too with the coke...the best part is the music in season two is incredible!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE t. hilton and when the stars go blue...plus i hate the naley trouble...but it does add something to the show.. so those who are barely hangin on...KEEP WATCHING season three is AWESOME and season 4 is great too and everyone else has probably seen the rest.. anyway i just read somewhere that season 7 is going to be one year in the future...thought everyone should know
KTG

this weeks podcast was great only thing i have to say is that hally has 2 jobs working at the cafe and the touter center but i wouldnt think that it would be much hints why nathan needs a job too

oh and andy is who karen marries after keith dies in season 3

Just wanted you guys to know that I think every OTH fan was not thrilled about this season when they first watched it. Having been a fan since the start I have now found new reasons to enjoy this season. It's not all bad, trust me the storylines really start to pick up in the last half of episodes.

And by the way Tric is not above Karen's Cafe... it is somewhere else in Tree Hill ...

OMG I HHHHAAAAATTTTEEE felix too!!! he's such a JERK!! and he is totally not cute. i hated him so much in this season and him and anna are major reasons why i did not like this season. they frustrate me so much, i was so glad they didn't stay on for the rest of the seasons haha. and you're definitely right that Nathan looked damn good ;) he always does in my opinion tho.... with the exception of the nasty long hair at the beginning of season 5. i liked how Karen went back to school too. i also thought what Nathan did for Haley was sooo sooo sweet, but she did have a point that they can't just blow their money. she was workin at the cafe at that time, she just didn't get that much screen time i guess lol. oh btw, he looks so good in that mechanic's uniform lol. i just love those two. love your podcasts, can't wait for the next one!

hahaha, felix is h-o-t though, his storyline with brooke is also pretty good, once it gets started properly, it also brings out a very jealous lucas :) felix becomes more likeable once his true side comes out, kind of like brooke really.

Ok. Here's my thing. Its okay to dislike Felix. He wasn't brought in to be liked. BUT as far as hating on the writer's bringing him in,I don't think we should. As a writer you want to bring in characters that stir the pot and get people angry. Q anyone? Nanny Carrie anyone? Sam anyone? I think its a good move.

And i think Felix is Hot! An evil, slimy, little rat. But Hot!
