One Tree Hill: Did Nathan Do It?

The Big Question: Did Nathan do it?
Renee is certainly working overtime to convince Haley that she and Nathan did the deed. She even visits Hales in jail to plead her case -- giving Haley her phone number and telling her to check Nathan's phone bills. And it's enough to start making Haley wonder... why is this woman targeting Nathan, if there's not some truth to it? Nathan gets pissy, then heartfelt at a press conference... but that doesn't explain why Renee's number is, indeed, on his bill. Uh-oh.
Question 2: What was Nathan thinking?
So Haley gets dragged off to jail, and Nathan calls....his agent? What's Clay supposed to do? Get a lawyer! And who cares if Quinn isn't there to look after Jamie -- you've got other friends, Nathan! Heck, drop him off at the neighbors and hie your butt down to the police station to bail out your wife! Don't just wait around until Clay and Quinn show up so you can be pissy at them!
Question 3: Seriously? Clay and Quinn didn't get busy?
OK, so we've established that Clay's a bit of a slut. We've also established that Quinn is trying to destroy her marriage. So it makes sense when she tells David that yes, she and Clay knocked boots. But then Clay tells Nathan they just talked.... what's going on?
There's more -- read on!
Question 4: Is Alex a complete idiot?
Julian decides to work with Alex on her script, and Alex responds by stripping down to prove that sex can just happen. She thought that was a good idea? Sigh. This, my dear, is not how to show that you're serious about a business venture. Plus, she had to know that (1) Julian would tell Brooke, and (2) Brooke would not be happy.
Question 5: Are you with Mouth or Millie?
Brooke wants Millie to model for her on a regular basis. Cool, huh? Not to Mouth, who plays Debbie Downer for the whole ep. Yes, Mouth, we know you've taken a moral stand and are now paying for it. We know that this is upsetting. But do you have to rain on Millie's parade?
Question 6: Is Dan behind it all?
We end the ep with Renee meeting with Dan. Is this their first meeting? Or is this evidence that Dan put this scheme in motion? And if so, why? Revenge? As a way to get his family back? Just because he could? Because he was out of Red Vines? The mind reels!
Those are our burning questions -- what about yours? Talk about it in the comments!

I think Dan is going to have Renee on the show and then try and expose her or at least place some doubt on her that she is lying He is all in this truth thing I think he's going to ask her tough questions.

ok--my theory is that renee has been planning this for a long time...she got preggers, she studied nathan and his party scene and decided he was a good target, or maybe she just hates clay...who knows but notice the phone number was on the bill only once, so i think when she met nathan she stole his phone, called her number to have "proof" that she and nathan have been together....you know, then she needed to know if haley doubts nathan at all..b/c that gives her confirmation that she's on top in this thing and she needed more "proof" that nathan is still calling her or something...also, dan's is playing the fairy-god father...and is going to make renee a deal, but she's not going to take it b/c she knows haley is doubting nathan and she has a shot at winning this thing...until the paternity test!
love clay, quinn is a little annoying but i guess clay is the new payton, and quinn is the new lucas...(annoying) so i'm happy if clay is...can't stand when mouth is all brooding i'm glad milli is putting herself out there...and i think alex just needs a lesson in growing up...i actually like her ok...but totally agree that brooke is still an insecure girl... but i overall still LOVE oth...i think it's better than last season so far, season 6 was just TOO happy...

Another boring episode. Quinn should go away. I can't stand her. Brooke is still an insecure girl. This is getting old.

Another craptastic episode full of bordom and despair.
I hate all of the new characters. Quinn is self absorbed, whiney and boring! Alex is annoying! Clay had promise until they hooked him up with Quinn.
The veteren characters don't interact with each other anymore which I find grating and ruins my enjoyment.
Naley's storyline sucks. Brooke barely has a storyline. I'm starting to hate Millie. I miss Skills. There is just so much suck that I can't even properly articulate it!

7 Seasons in, and One Tree Hill still keeps me drawn to the TV. I am so in love with these new characters. I'm anxious to see what will happen between Clay and Quinn, but I dont think anything will for a while. James Lafferty has always been to me the main cast member, he's very talented so Im glad hes getting the spot light this season. At first I didnt think Nathan would have cheated on Haley but now, I'm getting convinced he did. Maybe Dan will do something to Renee? Just a thought. One Tree Hill never fails. It's the only show I watch, The music is great, acting is great and the story lines are genious. It's just pure greatness.

I missed the summary on "One Tree Hill" last week. The fashion show may have been completely boring and useless, but Haley looked awesome. She looked better than the models and Brooke. Quinn looked better than them too, but Haley took the cake. That punch at the end was classic and she totally could have had Renee charged for harassment. An eye for an eye, right? The fact that Quinn left with Clay was a good thing. I think they could become the new Leyton. Mark and the other writers should focus on them. I wish Peyton was there for Nathan and Haley. Peyton has always helped Nathan when he's needed it. Nathan could always share everything with her and Peyton was always Haley's go-to person when she wanted to talk about Nathan.

Can I say the most inspiring thing was watching Chase get closer to his dream? Even though he's a minor character, he spoke with such passion in the "Pictures of You" episode in Season 4, one of my all-time favorites. And if everyone else gets to achieve their dream, I'm glad he'll do more, especially if his drinks are not great. I really wish Lucas could be here for Haley, but Quinn, if useless in everything else, is at least a good sister. Happy for Brooke and Millie and excited for this new storyline.

yeeeeeh what a great ep! So many awesome things. I wanted to say that I actually thought that Mouth and Millie story line was really realistic. I would be protective and play devils advocate with my friends or family if they were getting into the modelling business. Also I really love Alex, she plays her character sooo well! and the friendship with Millie is great. Yeh, the sitation with Clay and Quinn is compelling and i cant help think its going to blow up when Nathan finds out about them spending time together after he said not too. As far as i see it, Clay is a friend, but also an employee of Nathan's, and a guest in his family, so if someone asks you to stay away, thats what you do, even if you dont want too. And i didn't get the feeling that Dan started it all, i think that he wants to be the fairygod-father and help Nathan without him knowing. it also looks like haley is loosing faith in Nathan, and i wouldnt have every lost faith, but this angle is making a story line which i thought was signed and sealed to be more compelling each week! overall really engaging, great ep!! xx
