A MEETING OF THE MINDS
In case you missed it, Chris Matthews, of TV's "Hardball" was here. And....so was Wizzo - Marshall Brodien from the original Bozo Show.
Two great minds on one great show in one day. But, we were lamenting the fact that we couldn't get them on the air TOGETHER.
Well, turns out Chris met Marshall back in the green room, and was fascinated by his magic tricks. (yes, he does them even when he's off camera).

I used to work in a furniture store way out in a far-western suburb. This was about eight years ago. Marshall Brodien came in and was looking at curio cabinets. I didn't realize who it was immediately, but he asked me if the cabinets could be made deeper and without the glass shelves.
Unfortunately, this wasn't possible, but I asked him what he needed the modifications for, and he said,
"I need to put a body in here."
I was caught a little off-guard, but he explained how he wanted to put a mannequin in the cabinet wearing the Wizzo costume. Awesome.
He gave me his business card and told me that I could come visit his Museum of Magic at his house, and I regret not taking him up on the offer, because I just assumed he was being nice to some stupid furniture salesman.
