Queen For A Day
So, I'm doing this story, Beauty Tips From Beauty Queens, that airs in November. I got the idea when I met Miss Illinois United States, Nicole Kaapke. We both danced for cancer research last year. Anyway, she helped me get ready and told me some great tips! Like how to use Saran Wrap and Preparation H to shrink cellulite! How Visine doesn't just take out the red in your eyes but in pimples too! And how easy hair extensions are to use! Nikki's so down to earth, you'd never think she's won several pageant titles. Miss Chicago, Christine Boll, also joined us. She focused on things like pumping up your muscles right before the big bathing suit walk. I'll have to try them this summer before hitting the beach.
I gotta tell ya', it's tough being a girl! The things we go through to be beautiful! But now we'll have some of the secrets from the best of the beauties. Check me out in my borrowed tiara and sash. C'mon give me a break! A girl's gotta have some fun!

Marcella: You get better looking every day. There may be a few years age difference between you and those beauty queens; but you got it all over them. Think that's the Irish stubborn side that neve stops coming out

Marcella, My wife saw the hat you were wearing for the Thanksgiving Day parade and remembered that she had a hat similar to it. Unfortunately she can't find it, and is driving me crazy trying to find it. Where did you find your hat?

I just wanted to tell you about something funny that happened to me this weekend. My family and I were at a local 4 star hotel which for us is really kinda crazy. We decided to go swimming and have a nice weekend getaway. Anyway, when we checked into the hotel the very nice lady at the counter asked me if I was Marcella from channel 9. I could have and probably should have considering how much money we spent there said yes but instead I just smiled and said no. When we checked out the next day the same lady was there and told me that she used to be you mailperson in the suburbs and that she would see you every once in a while. She really was convinced that I was you. She was so nice to my family and I, and I just thought you should know that she really must have liked you because she treated us like stars. Thank you!
