We don't know yet whether Sen. Barack Obama will be smiling or frowning following his performance in tonight's Democratic presidential primary debate in Philadelphia, where all eyes will be on him as he tries to cast himself as a more confrontational candidate.
No matter how the battle with Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York goes, we do know that he is expected to wear a mask the next day. It turns out that the Illinois Democrat is a big Halloween fan.
He is not expected to make any public appearances Wednesday while spending a rare day at home in Chicago. He may, however, be on the city's streets, going door to door with his two children and his Secret Service detail.
"I am, by the way, going to be home to do trick-or-treating, although I've got to wear a mask, so that I don't scare the children," Obama told an audience Saturday at a high school in Perry, Iowa. "'It's a presidential candidate, oh no.'"
Small children in Iowa are used to seeing presidential candidates. But for those in Illinois, it is a significantly less common experience.

"Obama is pro-Halloween"
More hard news from the Swamp.

Well of course he's pro-Halloween! Didn't you read the article!

Gee, Brucie, must be hard for you to read an article about a politician who stays home WITH HIS FAMILY on Halloween to take the kids trick or treaing. You, know real family values.
I wonder how many times Rudy took his kids trick or treating before he dumped his first wife??

BobinATL and the rest of the drive-by media make unfair attacks daily on Rudy. At least Rudy married the intern he was sleeping with behind his wifes back!

I'm trying to figure out how Obama is going to do trick or treating with his kids today and be in Philadelphia tonight for a debate? Will his kids not be in school? Who tricks or treats on a weekday while school is in session and who is home then? Then to board a plane to Philadelphia during the height of trick or treating?
I know he flies on private planes. Hmmmm, those are bad for the environment though.
Why would the Demoncrats schedule a debate on Halloween, though? Shouldn't families be together this day and night rather than watch the Demoncrats debate?
Course, being the Demoncrats, Halloween is their day! And this weak group really is a bunch of demons. Sort of fitting actually that they would debate on Halloween, scaring the American people with their ideas. At least Hillary won't need a mask!!!

John D,
The debate is tonight. Tomorrow is Halloween. Get a clue.

I'd take my kids trick or treating but one of them is too busy supporting Obama. Darn it.

The debate is TONIGHT. Halloween is TOMORROW.
But, you being a Republican, I am not surprised that you are confused.

Refreshing to see that he is a normal guy. He even sounds excited about Trick or Treating. It would be hard to imagine Hillary and Bill doing this back in the day (they probably didn't). Although, I could see Bill wanting to go out with Chelsey just to get a look at the moms in sexy costumes.

Ahhh, yes, sorry, I did get my days confused. Been on the road too much. Sue me.

I see no mention in the swamp today of the fact that a high ranking member of Obama's finance committee is leaving his campaign to join Hillary Clintons. I would say that is a little more newsworthy then Obama is pro-Halloween. However taht doesn't fit into the swamp's objective of pushing only positive Obama stories all the time. What a joke? I know Obama has paid reporters and I would be shocked if the Swamp reporters are not among them. However it is intelluctaully dishonest not to let that be known in regards to full disclosure principles. THe Swamp writers are a joke. Bruce has more credibility than them.

I'm sure it'll be a 'treat' for Obama, as it usually is, because focus groups choose him the winner since the very first debate then the media snags that back the next day, or next hour, and crowns Hillary with the (false) win and then all you hear from that time on is 'Hillary won the debate" she was so this she was so that. Uggh. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait and watch through my window as she rides through on her broom.

Why don't you go back on that road and stay on it. No one missed your verbal diarrhea, and you bring nothing but the delusional as usual.

Hope Obama doesn't wear one of those Hillary masks voted most scary for Halloween. Ghosts and ghouls are okay, but a Hillary mask is over the top.

HAH! LOL How pathetic. Bruce posts a comment under the name Vinny and praises himself through his alter ego. What a pile of pathetic garbage.

Come on, Sen. Obama! You fooled me into sending you to Senate seat, and you missed 36% votes. Do you really think you can fool me again into sending you to White House? Having Oprah Winfrey's backing will not cut the mustard, either.
