Here are a few Washington events of note for Monday, September 15.
Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings is discussing the state of the American education system and the future of the accountability movement in education at the Aspen Institute's National Education Summit.
The Center for Housing and Financial Markets, the Homer Hoyt Institute and the Institute for Real Estate at the University of Pennsylvania are discussing the next aspects of the subprime mortgage crisis.
The Alliance for Health Reform and the AARP Public Policy Institute are debating whether Medicaid can adequately cover low-income adults' medical needs.
