Here are a few Washington events of note for Friday, October 3.
The House is planning to vote again on the now $800 billion Wall Street bailout legislation that also includes various new tax breaks and spending for earmarked projects scattered throughout the country.
The Labor Department is releasing the unemployment report for September.
The House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on the firing of nine U.S. attorneys.
