Dina Bair hits the lake at this year's Chicago Shoreline Marathon

While many people turned their attention to the Chicago Triathlon this weekend, there was another competition taking place that proved to be just as adrenaline pumping -- and also took it's racers to the water.

WGN-TV's Dina Bair and other local members of the media competed at the third annual Chicago Shoreline Marathon. The event took place along Chicago's lakeshore from the Indiana border up to Leone Beach in Roger's Park.
