Game Notes For Friday @ NY

* Chicago has already beaten New York twice this season and the Bulls have only lost once to the Knicks over the last nine times these teams have played. * The Bulls may look to take advantage of an undermanned and weary Knicks team that has played the most overtime periods of any team this season - six, including three in its last two games. * Chicago has won five in a row, and 12 of its last 13 games overall. In these 13 games, the Bulls have outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points. * New York has shot just 15 of 57 (.263%) from three-point range in its last three games. * Chicago’s Kirk Hinrich ranks fifth among all guards in three-point shooting percentage (.447%) * Knicks center Eddy Curry has fared well against his own conference, averaging 20.8 points on 58% shooting against Eastern opponents this season, including 22.0 points on 58% shooting in two games versus the Bulls. * Knicks guard Jamal Crawford has shot under 30% from the field in five of his last nine games. * Chicago has four players averaging more than 14 points per game this season (Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Andres Nocioni, and Kirk Hinrich), the second most on any team in the NBA (Phoenix is first with five players). * New York point guard Stephon Marbury is averaging 15.1 points and 5.8 assists per game this month after posting his second lowest scoring and assist averages in any month of his career last month (10.1 points, 4.5 assists).
