* Miami has won seven of its last 11 games. In those seven victories Miami has allowed just 82.3 points per game, with no opponent scoring more than 85. In the four losses, the Heat has allowed 106.5 points per game. *The Heat (30-29) is over .500 for the first time since Nov. 10, when Miami’s record stood at 3-2. * Shaquille O’Neal is averaging 20.7 points and 9.3 rebounds over his last six games. * Eddie Jones had a season-high 21 points in Miami’s win over Atlanta on Monday, with 19 coming after halftime. This was his fifth start since joining the Heat on Feb. 1 – in his first four starts, Jones had a total of just 32 points. * The Bulls are looking to sweep the season series from the Heat. The last time Chicago swept a season series from Miami was back in 1991-92 (4-0). * Kirk Hinrich (22.0) and Ben Gordon (26.7) have combined for nearly 50 points per game in the three meetings with Miami this season. * Ben Gordon is coming off a career-high 48-point performance in Sunday’s overtime win over the Bucks. Over his last four games, Gordon is averaging 32.3 points and 5.0 assists while shooting 54.1% from the field (50.0% from 3-point line) and going 21-of-22 from the free throw stripe. * Luol Deng has made 29 straight free throws. Ben Gordon saw his streak of consecutive made free throws snapped at 36 when he missed one during Sunday’s win over the Bucks.
