Game Notes For Wednesday @ Nets

* The Nets have won 10 straight home games against the Bulls. The last time Chicago won on New Jersey’s home court was back on April 17, 2001. * The Bulls are looking for their first 50-win season since 1997-98 (when they went 62-20). * Chicago has led all three previous meetings with New Jersey this season by at least 18 points. However, they won just one of those games. * Ben Gordon is shooting 54.3% (19-for-35) and backcourt partner Kirk Hinrich 45.5% (15-for-33) from behind the 3-point arc this month. * New Jersey is looking to avoid its first losing season since going 26-56 in 2000-01. * Vince Carter is coming off his second triple-double of the season, putting up 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in Monday’s win over the Knicks. Carter is averaging 32.0 points over his last six games, but has struggled against Chicago this year, putting up 20.0 points per game on just 37.9% shooting. * Bostjan Nchbar is shooting 59.0% from behind the 3-point arc this month. However, he is just 5-for-15 from the 3-point line against the Bulls this season.
