Game Notes For Saturday @ The Garden

* The Knicks won the last time they played the Bulls at Madison Square Garden, but Chicago has won five of the last six meetings overall. * The Bulls have been off since last Tuesday when they lost at Denver. At 2-8, they are off to their worst start since beginning the 2004-05 season by losing nine of their first 10 games. * New York has lost eight straight, tying it with Seattle for the NBA's longest losing streak this season. * Luol Deng has missed the last two games with a sore back. The team’s second-leading scorer at 14.6 points a game, Deng started all 82 games last season and the first eight this season. * Stephon Marbury is shooting 38.2 percent this season. Only once in his career has he failed to shot at least 41.0 percent for a season and that was his rookie season with the Timberwolves.
