* Chicago has lost in its last eight trips to Golden State, having not won there since the 1997-98 season (Michael Jordan’s last with the team).
* The Bulls will be playing their fifth game of a six-game road trip, having gone 1-3 thus far.
* The Warriors rank second in the NBA in scoring (109.6 per game) and have scored 100 or more points in 12 straight games, the longest such active streak in the league.
* Baron Davis scored a career-high-tying 40 points when these teams met in Chicago on Jan. 18 (119-111 GS win).
* Chris Webber is expected to be in the starting lineup tonight for the Warriors. Webber won Rookie of the Year honors in his one season with Golden State (1993-94) before being traded to Washington the following offseason.
* Joe Smith is averaging 20.5 points on 16-of-31 shooting (.516) in the Bulls’ last two games.
* Filling in for the injured Ben Gordon (wrist) Wednesday night, Thabo Sefolosha scored a career-high 22 points. Gordon will likely miss tonight’s game as well.
