Game Notes For Tuesday vs. Atlanta

* Atlanta has lost each of its last seven trips to Chicago and will be seeking its first victory there since a 116-101 win back on April 9, 2004. * At 5-0, Atlanta is off to its best start since opening the 1997-98 campaign with 11 straight wins. * All three Chicago’s wins this season have come at home. In their three home wins the Bulls are outscoring their opponents 101.3 to 88.0. * Ben Gordon is averaging 27.7 points in his last three games after averaging 14.3 points in his previous four contests. * Atlanta’s leading scorer, Joe Johnson, averaged 23.0 points in four games against the Bulls last season. * The Hawks are holding their opponents to just 85.8 points per game this season, which is the second-best mark in the NBA.
