A Nice Finish to the Season

a href="http://blogs.trb.com/news/local/wgntv/clickthis/Funk.jpg">Funk.jpg

At the start of the year, most people thought the Bulls would be a 40 or 41 win team. By January, it looked like the Bulls might struggle to get 30 !!

But the trade for Brad Miller, John Salmons and Tim Thomas made for a fantastic turn-around in the fortunes of this team. So now they will get to 40 wins and probably more and they're in the play-offs.

The Bulls are playing their best basketball of the season and that's the best you can ask of any team...play your best as you head into the post-season.

Keep Playing Hard

king.jpg

It's very important for the Bulls to keep up their intensity for the last games of this season. They can still get to the #6 position in the play-offs. They don't just care that they are in the play-offs, now they have a chance to control who they will face once they get there.

I think the Bulls match up better against Cleveland or Orlando better than they do against Boston because Boston plays a half-court game, where the Bulls have struggled. The half-court game keeps the Bulls shooting from the perimeter. The Bulls like to run and the Cavs and Magic play an up-tempo style and that suits the Bulls better.

New York is just 11-27 away from home this season. * Chicago has won 11 of its last 12 home games, including four in a row. * David Lee has recorded a double-double in 17 straight road games and leads the NBA with 61 double-doubles overall on the season. * Ben Gordon is averaging 15.0 points and shooting 25.0 percent from the field over his last two games after averaging 31.0 points and shooting 59.1 percent from the field in his previous two contests. * Quentin Richardson is averaging 23.0 points per game against the Bulls this season, his highest average against any opponent.
