We have seen Joakim Noah out on the floor before the last couple of games running through drills and taking some shots.  It's great to see Joakim get closer to returning to action on the floor.   He should be ready to play shortly after the All-Star Break, depending on practice and how he responds to running, shooting and of course the big test will be how he responds to contact.

The coaching staff is anxious to get him back and have their complete team on the floor in time to get used to each other before the play-offs begin.   The Bulls have only had Carlos Boozer and Noah together for 9 games and the first few of those Carlos was just getting over HIS injury.

Kurt Thomas has filled in great in Noah's absence and that's precisely why he was brought in here...to play in case someone got injured.   Kurt will go back to the bench, but he and Omer Asik will get plenty of minutes in the play-offs.
