* Joakim Noah is averaging 12.8 rebounds per game since returning to action on February 23.

* It was a tale of two halves for Derrick Rose against Atlanta on Wednesday. In the first half, Rose had 10 points (on 4-for-10 shooting), seven assists and no turnovers. But after halftime, he had just two points (on 1-for-11 shooting) with five assists and six turnovers.

* This will be the first meeting of 2010-11 between these teams, though the Bulls and Hawks will clash two more times by March 22. Atlanta has won seven of the past eight games in the series, including each of the last two.

* The Bulls have won three in a row and lead the Central Division by 14.5 games. They've allowed fewer than 80 points in each of the last two victories, raising their season total to eight games surrendering fewer than 80, which ties New Orleans for the most in the league.

* The Hawks ended a 3-4 road trip (before and after the All-Star break) with a 100-90 loss at Denver on Monday. Atlanta has not reached triple digits in any of its past 10 games.

* Derrick Rose finished February with an average of 26.4 points per game, the highest average in a calendar month by any Bull since Michael Jordan scored 32.3 points per game in April 1998 (minimum 5 games).

* Carlos Boozer connected on only three of his 11 field-goal attempts on Monday, his lowest percentage (.273) since November 2009. Still, with 12 points and 10 rebounds, he recorded his first double-double since February 7.

* Al Horford is averaging nearly five more points per game at home (18.7) than he is on the road (14.0), in part perhaps because he's committed far fewer personal fouls at home (2.0 per game) than on the road (3.2).
