* Including the regular season, the Blackhawks have won all six meetings between these clubs in 2008-09, outscoring the Flames by a combined score of 25-11 in those contests. Calgary has failed to tally more than two goals vs. Chicago in any of those six losses.

* Chicago has won nine straight best-of-7 series after winning the first two games (10-2 all-time) and none of those nine series went past five games. The last time the Blackhawks lost a series after leading 2-0 was when they were defeated in seven games by Montreal in the 1971 Stanley Cup Final

* The Flames have never won a best-of-7 playoff series after trailing 0-2 (0-7 series record).

* Calgary is just 11-11 in its last 22 postseason home games (since 2003-04).  The Flames were 18-6-1 at the Pengrowth Saddledome since December 23 - the best home record of any team in hockey since that date.

* Jarome Iginla had a goal and an assist in Game 2 and has now registered four multi-point performances in his last seven postseason contests. Iginla has 26 career playoff goals - tied with Hakan Loob for fourth place on the Flames all time playoff goals list.

* Nikolai Khabibulin has earned more wins against Calgary than any other team in his career, posting a 28-8-2 record all-time against the Flames (includes postseason). Khabibulin is 4-0 with a 1.61 GAA in his last four postseason starts, with all four starts coming against the Flames (two with Tampa Bay and two with Chicago).
