* The Blackhawks have won each of the last three meetings between these teams, including a 5-2 victory in the first matchup this season.

* Chicago has won six of its last nine games and will be looking to extend its current win streak to three in a row.

* The Blackhawks have scored 11 power-play goals in their last nine games after scoring a total of five in their first 15 games of the season.

* Phoenix has allowed just two goals with the man advantage in its last 14 games and owns the best penalty kill percentage among Western Conference teams this season (88.9%).

* Jonathan Toews has three goals and three assists in his last two games and three goals and one assist in his last three games against the Coyotes.

* Chicago beat Calgary 4-1 on November 11 in the lone meeting between these clubs so far this season. The Blackhawks have now won 11 of their last 13 games against the Flames.

* Chicago has won its last four games, averaging 5.3 goals per game during this streak. This is the Blackhawks' longest win streak since taking eight in a row, February 20-March 5, 2011.

* Calgary has struggled to score goals of late, averaging a league-low 1.75 per game so far in November. Columbus (1.83) is the only other club averaging less than two goals per game this month.

* Marian Hossa has seven points - all assists - in his last three games. Hossa (21) and Patrick Kane (21) are one of three sets of teammates who have at least 20 points each this season.

* Jonathan Toews is third is the league in faceoff win percentage (61.1%) this season (min. 100 faceoffs)

* Miikka Kiprusoff is not getting a lot of help from his teammates. He is receiving 2.22 goals per game in support, which is fourth lowest for a goaltender with at least 12 games played this season.

* Vancouver has won each of its last three meetings with the Blackhawks, including a 6-2 victory in the first meeting between these teams this season.

* The Blackhawks have outscored their opponents 16-7 during their current three-game winning streak after losing their previous three games while getting outscored 14-6.

* The Canucks have won three of their last four games overall and have won two straight and four of their last five games at home. 

* Cory Schneider is 0-2-0 with a 4.00 GAA in his last two starts after going 2-1-0 with a 1.97 GAA in his first three starts on the season.

* Henrik and Daniel Sedin have combined for 15 points (5g, 10a) in their last three regular season games against Chicago. Henrik has six points (2g, 4a) in his last four games while Daniel has seven points (1g, 6a) in his last four.

Blackhawks Game Notes For Thursday @ Columbus

* Chicago won the only meeting this season between these teams (5-2 on Oct. 29 at home), and is 7-1-1 in its last nine road games against the Blue Jackets.

* The Blackhawks have allowed seven power-play goals in 10 times shorthanded in four November games, after posting a 91.7 percent penalty-kill percentage in October (third best in NHL).

* Columbus hasn't played since Saturday's 9-2 loss at Philadelphia. The nine goals are tied for the most allowed in the NHL this season, and tied for second most allowed by the Blue Jackets all-time.

* The Blue Jackets have scored exactly two goals in 10 of their 14 games, going 0-9-1 in those contests.

* Rick Nash has 23 career goals against the Blackhawks, the most by any NHL player since he entered the league in 2002-03. Nash has gone eight straight games without scoring versus Chicago, however.

* Patrick Kane is one of three players with at least 100 goals and 200 assists in the Western Conference since the start of the 2007-08 season (107 G, 211 A). The others are Daniel Sedin and Pavel Datsyuk.

* The Blackhawks have won nine of the last 13 meetings between these teams, however, they have lost three of their last four trips to St. Louis.
* The Blues have won each of their last three home games and will be looking to win four in a row at home for the first time since December 23-31, 2010.

* The Blackhawks are just 1-for-26 with the man advantage in their last seven games and own the third-worst power-play percentage overall in the NHL this season at 9.4 percent.

* Patrick Kane, who has seven points (2g, 5a) in his last four games, has 24 points (10g, 14a) in 26 career games against St. Louis. 

* T.J. Oshie has 16 points (2g, 14a) in 15 career games against Chicago, including seven points (1g, 6a) in four games against them last season.

Blackhawks Game Notes For Friday @ Tampa

* Chicago defeated Florida, 3-2, in a shootout last night and has now won three straight overall. The Blackhawks are 0-for-19 on the power play in their last five contests.
* The Lightning lost, 4-2, to the Hurricanes on Tuesday and have now dropped two of three overall. Tampa Bay's opponents are just 1-for-15 with the man-advantage in the last six games.
* These clubs played twice last season with Tampa Bay taking both tilts (4-3 in a shootout on March 9 and 2-0 on April 3). The Blackhawks and Lightning have faced off against each other six times since the lockout with each winning three of those games.
* Both Patrick Kane (2g, 2a) and Marian Hossa (1g, 3a) have four points in the Blackhawks' last two games. Hossa is a +28 in 51 career games vs. the Lightning - tied for second best all-time.
* Including one helper on Tuesday, Marc-Andre Bergeron has four assists in his last four games, giving the Lightning blueliner 13 points overall in 2011-12 - tied for most of any defenseman in the league.
* Tampa Bay is 5-0-0 when leading after two periods this season and 0-5-1 when trailing entering the third stanza in 2011-12.

* These teams have split their last six meetings; however the Blackhawks have outscored the Panthers 17-6 in those six contests.

* Chicago will be looking for its first three-game winning streak of the season after posting wins over Columbus and Nashville last week. The Blackhawks scored five goals in each of those contests and are now 7-0-1 when scoring at least three goals this season, compare to 0-2-1 when scoring two or fewer.

* Florida has scored 13 of its 28 goals this season in the third period, the third highest percentage in the league.

* Viktor Stalberg has three goals in his last two games including two game-winning goals. This after posting just one point (an assist) in his first six games of the season.
